Family breakdown has enormous consequences for the well-being of children, especially if they are being exposed to parental conflict. Children who are caught in the middle of warring parents can have great difficulty concentrating and learning at school. What can be done to maximize children's school performance and insulate them from the stress of being raised by parents in conflict? How can we prevent children from developing learning difficulties as a result of being emotionally harmed by witnessing their parents behaving badly?
